What else we can provide
Print- We have extensive networking equipment, including wireless. If we have suitable free access broadband, or an ISDN line, we can provide Internet connection for the press/rally offices so long as they are reasonably close to Results (we can set up a wireless bridge, over a distance of approximately 100 metres). If we have an analogue connection, we can still do this but it is not as good, so we would prefer not to.
- Results are posted to our (very well known) website, continuously. The address of this (if you want to include it in your program, or whatever) is http://rally.connect.ie
- There is a special link which can be used to go directly to your event’s results, bypassing our “index” page; I will supply this to your “web” person on request.
- Two mobile broadband devices are available for use at a passage control, if required, and if not required for our HQ connection. The cost is €5 per day each.
- Laptops for use in the field for data collection are available. These laptops are all equipped with extended-life batteries, in-car power adapters, and numeric keypads. The cost is €35 per laptop per day.
- We can provide a set of clocks (to operate in “manual” mode), at an additional cost of approximately €400 - €600.
